Welcome to FireSquare, a free private blizzlike World of Warcraft server!
To start playing you will need to register
here. After registering an account you will need the World of Warcraft client.
You can download the client installer
here.
The installer will offer 3 different options:
- World of Warcraft (Classic, without expansion content)
- The Burning Crusade
- Wrath of The Lich King
If you have a plenty of free space on your hard drive, we recommend you to install WoTLK, as it provides you the access to all the content. Otherwise, you can choose the Classic installation, and upgrade later on by running the installer again.
When the installation is complete, we recommend
not to use the launcher, but to patch up manually to the patch that we support (as the retail version do not always match the version we currently support).

here. If you've used the installer linked in this post, then you should choose enGB patches. If you have any other client, use the appropriate patches for that client.
Please be sure to patch up only to the current version (
3.3.5a) or otherwise you wont be able to play.
You will need to apply the patches in this order:
3.X.X -> 3.2.0
3.2.0 -> 3.3.0
3.3.0 -> 3.3.0a
3.3.0a-> 3.3.2
3.3.2 -> 3.3.3
3.3.3 -> 3.3.3a
3.3.3a-> 3.3.5
3.3.5 -> 3.3.5aWhen you're done patching the client, go to the directory where you installed the client, open further the directory
/data/enGB/ and find
realmlist.wtf file there, open it with Notepad (or similar) and replace all its contents with the following:
set realmlist firesquare.net
set patchlist firesquare.netFrom that moment on please use Wow.exe to launch the game to avoid autopatching to a version that we don't support.
There you go, your client should be working now and you should be able to play on our server!
